Summer is finally here and there are a lot of activities to photograph and then scrap
Come in and see the new product and even a new company. Echo Park is a beautiful new line.
We are going to start the new Summer Hours starting July 1st.
We will be open 11- 6 Monday thru Friday and 10-4 on Saturday.
Remember we do monthly kit contests for both adults and kids. You must use at least a piece of everything that is in the kit. Pick up the adult kit the first of the month and bring back the finished layout by the 15th of the month for judging by our customers. The kid’s kit can be picked up the 15th of the month and returned by the end of the month for voting by the customers. Winners get a $5 gift certificate or an item.

Classes
Come prepared with your essential, basic supplies to help you complete in-class projects:
*Standard paper trimmer *Adhesive (wet & dry)
*Scissors, preferably small micro-tip *Black archival journaling pen
CLASS CHANGE effective May 1: Because of the time the teachers put into preparing for a class and getting the materials ready, we will be requiring a non-refundable deposit of $5.00 when signing up for classes. If you attend the class, the $5.00 will be applied to your payment that day. We are sorry to have to make this change. So often people who were signed up, do not come to the class or even call to cancel before the class prep is done. Cancellations must be 48 hours before the class. We have put off making this change for a while but can no longer avoid doing so.
Please bring basic supplies to your class: adhesives (wet and dry), trimmer, scissors, chalk, ink, glue dots, etc.
Basic Grey is again offering the monthly club that will go from March to February, 2011. This year the theme is up to you. They provide the layout ideas and you make it your own personal pages. If you would like to join us for this year-long class, we still have a few spots available.

Part of childhood and summer involves catching fireflies. So much fun on a summer evening. Join Amy and create a 12 X 12, 2 page layout for your summer memories.

July 19th -- 6:00 pm "Cricut Vinyl Class" - Taught by Sue
Think the vinyl is a cool idea? Think it would be cool to use on your walls? If you are like me, I thought those things, bought the vinyl and had it sitting on the shelf for a year or more. Well, that has changed. I have made my first vinyl art and now I am hooked. Come in and join me for this class where you will learn how to become a vinyl addict yourself!

July 20th -- 6:00 pm - Are you ready? Christmas in July Card Class - Taught by Amy
Want to start getting your Christmas cards made? Join us and create 5 Christmas cards and get some great inspiration to get started. We will make the unending card in this class. You don’t know what an unending card is? Stop in and see the sample. Very clever.
Fee: $12.00.
July 24th -- 10:30 am "Cricut Beginners" - Taught by Sue
Have a Cricut and don’t know how to use it? Don’t have a Cricut but would like to use our Cricut in the crop room? Come in and join me in this Cricut Basics class. We will go over basic uses and features to give you enough knowledge to “chirp” your way to endless possibilities. *Please bring your Cricut/mat/a cartridge if possible.

July 24th -- 1:00 pm "Castle and Dragon" Layout Class - Taught by Catina
This is a 2-page layout using cricut knights, princess' and dragons. Bring basic tools and an exacto knife.

July 26th -- 6:00 pm "Monthly Review Layout" - July Edition - Taught by Tara
Join me for the seventh class in a 12 part series. Each month we will make a 2 page spread to showcase the memories from that month. Kits will be available if you are unable to attend the class. (Final product may vary from sample)Please sign up monthly.

In this class we will use the adorable zoo paper from Karen Foster. You will create adorable zoo animals and have a wonderful 12 X 12, 2 page layout. Don’t have zoo pictures, no problem! Amy plans of putting pictures of her daughters messy room on this layout.

This class will be combining the amazing Core’dinations paper with the “fun to play with” Cuttlebug. You will make a beautiful layout and have lots of technique fun doing different techniques.
